This site keeps things simple.

The list

If you sign up, I get your email address. I use it to send you the novella and to tell you when the next book is out. Nothing else. It is never sold, and no one gets it except Kit, the service that runs the list.

The machinery

Kit (kit.com) stores addresses under the EU's standard data protection terms. It records the usual technical traces of a signup and counts email opens. Signups use double opt-in, so only you can subscribe you. The site itself has no cookies and no analytics. The only outside script is Kit's signup form on the novella page.

Leaving

Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you are gone. You can also reply to any email to ask about or delete your data.
